There is just one last night of pageant. 9:30 here is when it begins. These are a few of our favorite cast missionaries. Ben/Zarahemna and Peter/Captain Moroni did an amazing job. Most people like Zarahmna's costume but Captain Moroni is the definite hero.
This happens to be one of Captain Moroni's youngest standard bearer. He valiantly defends family, God, and liberty every night, as well as raises the Title of Liberty, and is even fairly pleasant during the day.
And these fine cast missionaries are Tall One as a Nephite warrior bringing peace to the world by befriending a Lamanite warrior and the angel Moroni. What a combination. He fights with Capt. Moroni, chases out Samuel the Lamanite, survives Christ coming to America and joins the pioneer movement west pulling a handcart.
These are some fine friends that actually took me up on my offer to come to pageant, brought their wards youth group, camped in our backyard, and had a wonderful time. I enjoyed it too.
As I entered the temple grounds I heard a pageant protester enticing someone to take his pamphlet. "Come on, be open minded. Find out what someone else believes." Interestingly enough the words that stood out to me that night in the pageant performance were attributed to Captain Moroni "For Moroni knew that you can't compromise with evil, for when you do evil always wins".

It looks so fun! We should have come down. My children are going to be mad at me when they find out it's over. How is this summer slipping by so fast???
That is so great Mom! What cute and amazing kids you have! :) I'm glad you've had some time to actually enjoy pageant too- doesn't look like July slows down much for you though, does it?
