All 28 of us!  Joy in our posterity, my quiver is full (but always room for more)

I am a stay at home mother of 8 children.  Five are married with children.  Four have served full time missions for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (NYNY South, Spanish; Bolivia Santa Cruz; Florida Orlando 2X).  One missionary currently serving in Michigan. Two are still at home keeping my life full and happy. I have 14 grandchildren.  I blog because it gives me an opportunity to organize my thoughts, ideas, memories, and even recipes.  These are things I want to remember and to share with my children as they grow.  I want this blog to help them know who I am, where my interests lie, resources I feel are helpful, and I include things I think grandparents and extended family may be interested in about my family at home.

I love being a wife and mother.  I feel it is the most important thing for me to be doing in my life.  I feel that everything I study, learn, and participate in should be for the intent to be better at these roles.  As I seek my Father in Heaven's guidance in this sacred stewardship, I see blessings come not only to my family but reaching out to others in my community.  I love my Savior, Jesus Christ.  I feel great gratitude as I partake of his grace each day.  He is my joy and my strength.  Ultimately, it is him I serve as I serve those he has blessed me with.  All things are from him and I can do all things with him.  I love my life, the future looks bright.
