We are all hurting. We all receive trials tailored to help us grow, to challenge us, to allow us to turn to God and allow him to show us the way through, to heal. He helps us see the beauty, the joy that can be ours even in the midst of the difficult. Man is that he might have joy. Often the joy comes when we accept the difficult, make the climb, and view the vista at the summit knowing we have not walked alone. We have been helped each step of the way and as we leaned on Jesus Christ we were/are enabled to continue, to endure, to taste joy along the way and then finally reach the point where we can look back and see how all the switchbacks were still helping us make progress and were necessary steps to arrive where we need to be. As we walk through the mortal journey let our walk be with God, let his light illuminate the path that we might not stumble, let a grateful heart show us the many tender mercies that bless each day. Let us look around to see who else we might help along the way.
Thank you Natalie for sharing this with me.
