December catch up in photos

 Our first big snow!

Recital with an excellent solo by Doodle

Dane and Taylor

Roping has become a traditional activity at holidays thanks to John and his dummy
Natalie made some great props for our own photo booth.

This game was a lot of fun. The paper bag game.  You have to pick up the sack with your mouth and only your feet can touch the ground.  Then you tear off where you bit and the sack gets smaller as you rotate turns.  We had some surprisingly excellent players with lots of different styles.

This sweet family spent a few days with us pre-Christmas and then headed home to spend their own Christmas.
 squeezing in nap times
Rabbit hunting for the little guys.  Surprised how much they liked it.
 Our Bethlehem dinner

Christmas eve jammies for Elise's family
Christmas Eve nativity as we sing the Nativity Song

 Christmas morning line up
 Santa filled all the stockings!

one of the best gifts, the announcement of Natalie and William having a baby in July.  Yeah!

Thanksgiving 2013

We have thoroughly enjoyed our Thanksgiving.  It has been full of gratitude.
our Thanksgiving tree created by Debbie

It has had some dancing
some more willing to dance than others.  We usually could get everyone out for the line dances.  So glad my big boys like to dance and are teaching the rest of us their sweet moves.

It had an opportunity to serve. We shared dinner with the senior apartments.

We had lots of family time and too much food.

I hope it has had all the things that are needed to bring in the Christmas season.

Grateful:
553 gathering together as family
554 finding new friends to spend Thanksgiving with
555 Grandparents willing to come to our house and share the holiday weekend with lots of fun
556 our city's light parade
557 We made it to 1,000 on our family grateful list.  so many things to be grateful for.  Then we went bowling to celebrate.  Had 6 kids there, great time.
558 Our finances are working out.
