Laundry at my house
This beautiful stand for hang drying our clothing was a Christmas gift from Milt. I showed him a picture of one from Ikea that I wanted. He decided he could make it and this is what he came up with. It is much bigger (MUCH bigger) than the Ikea version and I didn't know if it would even fit but it is working fine and can handle his jeans, sheets, blankets, whatever we need to dry without any problem. My bedroom has become the place to dry clothes.
These other two dryers are from Walmart or somewhere. I like them a lot too. Especially for the smaller things or for delicate items as they have smoother dowels to hold the clothing. My kids are learning to help hang there clothes and know where to come looking if they are short on clothes in their rooms.
If you give the clothes a good shaking before you hang them and spread them out nicely then the wrinkles are quite minimal. Since the upstairs is the coldest place in our house, heavier items take more than a day to dry. On average clothes are dry in 24 hours. I am grateful that my dryer does still work because I just don't yet care for towels air drying. They are so stiff. I have heard that you can just through them in the dryer after they are dry for just a few minutes to soften things up but I like letting them do the whole cycle.

That looks like a lot of work!! I think I'm too impatient to wait for my clothes to dry!
Looks like fun! I'm glad your multiple dryers are all working for you! Maybe I'll have to come home to do laundry next time...
you are welcome and time. Anyone. If you use my dryer your stay is longer. Sounds like a win win to me.
Well it looks like you are completely prepared for a power outage!! Of course you always have been. Way to go...saving energy and everything!!
Looks like you do about the same amount of laundry I do! My hubby didn't build me one, so I have a drying rack from IKEA!
